You may feel a little blue and homesick, and need to cheer up, you need SHOPPING !
Of course you can go to Vincom Center on Le Thanh Ton or Takashimaya/Saigon Center on Le Loi in district 1, where you can find well-known international brands such as Mango, Zara, Warehouse, Topshop and so on. H&M is coming in September 2017 so you need to be patient. Here, I am giving you some kind of alternatives to those international fast-fashion brands that are much more expensive than in Europe or USA. For example, Zara is about 30% more expensive. You should probably start at Zara & Mango first and then swing by:
TU by CATU: They have 3 shops in HCMC, one in Nguyen Trai street, one on Nguyen Thiep and one on Nguyen Thai Binh. The design is very simple, you will find basic tops, shorts and dresses with basic colors such as light blue, white, black and pink. The patterns are usually plain, with stripes or with some lace. Price is around 200k the top, quality is just OK. They have often new collections so if you are around Nguyen Hue street, just swing by, you have something to lose.
The Maker Concept Store: The Maker is also a coffee shop located in the same building, well-known on 42 Nguyen Hue where you will find also plenty of other coffee shops. The concept store is on the first floor. It is a multi-brand stores where you will find some jewelry, lingerie, shoes, clothes and bags, mainly for women. You really need to look and try on ! Whenever you pick a clothe, just ask for the size you would like to try and the girl will prepare everything for you in the fitting room. Prices is really good, 400k for a golden skirt like on the picture of the article. Dresses are around 600k to 800k. So just a small advice, give it a try and really look at the clothes and try on !!
