SADEC District or the new small shopping village on Xuan Thuy Street in Thao Dien!
Don’t expect too much when I say “Village” because it is quite small, but it is what I felt when I got there. A village because it is a big open air terrace surrounding by upscale shops: flowers, cupackes, leather accessories and bags, clothes, crockery, bed sheets and a bistro.
I believe SADEC District is a right place to go if you would like to have a coffee somewhere else than at a coffee shop, surrounding by plants, it is a peaceful and quiet place. Named SI Bistro, it also serves teas, mocktails, fresh juices, soft drinks, desserts, Italian sodas, yogurts, smoothies, beers and wines.
If you wish to have food, the kitchen of SI Bistro only opens from 4-9.30PM, they don’t have a large menu that why I think it is only a great place for early after work drinks with small bites. They serve wonton, a typical HK dish, spring rolls, salads, fried squids and potatoes, garlic breads, and sashimis. But the best news is that they also serves fresh oysters fine clair from Nha Trang, 4 pieces for 80,000 VND nett. I guess they just offer the best deal in town and you can trust me I have been searching for it for a long time (see more here). If you want to know more about the range prices, please have a look at the pictures below.
Having drinks or food there, it is like having a fully experience of the core business of SADEC District which a rockery and decor brand, because they serve the coffee in the cup from the shop, so you will be definitely seduced!
You will be also seduced by this brand CINCINATI that offers leather bags and sandals and NE YUH LEATHER, selling leather accessories. Well-known brands such as LAM or CATHERINE DENOUAL have also opened new shops there for the pleasure of the elitist expats. And if you are fonding for cupcakes, you can give it a try to PACEY.
