- Le Tonneau Cái Thùng Gỗ on 369 Hai Bà Trưng in district 3. The owner & Chef Ms.Huyen got trained by Sakal Phoung, a famous French chef who has worked over 10 years at Sofitel. Starters start at 100,000 VND with amuse bouche scallop carpaccio with salmon egg and lemon yoghurt, to 180,000 VND with a raw sea scallops, marinated salmon and mashed avocado, wasabi sauce. Main courses start at 125,000 VND with a beef slow-cooked in red wine with bread to 390,000 VND with a grilled Australian beef rib eye (300g) with french fried and black pepper sauce & mushroom sauce. - Atelier des rêves on 20/5 Ky Dong in district 3. The cook is vietnamese and french speaker. They offer typical french dished such as beef bourguignon. Starters such as carpaccio of melon, basil oil and ham serrano is 195,000 VND, escargots Bourgogne style with garlic butter is 265,000 VND. For main courses you can have pan-fried Fish of the day with half-salt butter,

- Les Délices de Mai on 20 Xa Lo Ha Noi in Thao Dien, nearby Thao Dien Pearl in district 2. The restaurant is really not impressive and pretty small, the cook is local but it is a really good value for money. All dishes are very simple and tasty such as chicken with mustard sauce or mushroom sauce with french fries for 88,000 VND, pork filet with pepper sauce or mustard sauce for 93,500 VND. - La Belgique on 17 Tran Quoc Toan in district 3, is a bit like a canteen, it is friendly. The starters start at 75,000 VND with clams in garlic butter and parsley or mussels with tartar sauce to 220,000 VND with goose liver with fined mashed carrots. For the main courses, steak with french fries is 135,000 VND, entrecôte is 255,000 VND and duck confit is 245,000 VND. They also serve couscous for 210,000 VND and desserts start at 65,000 VND with strawberry with homemade whipped cream or you may want a chocolate lava cake at 135,000 VND.
