3 places to buy meat

Meatwork is a premium butchery dedicated to serving the finest imported beef and lamb, and locally sourced poultry and pork. They have two shops, one in district 2 (No.1 Street 2 in Thao Dien, not far from BIS – British International School) and one in district 7 (401 Pham Thai Buong H11-2, My Khanh 3). You will find sausages, beef tenderloin, pork ribs, beef skewers and so on. You can order online and the delivery is free, however it is quite pricey but I guess it is price when you want to have good quality.

Annam Gourmet might be the easiest solution as they have shops almost everywhere and also sell everything for expats (district on Hai Ba Trung & Saigon Center, district 2 in Thao Dien and distrcit 7 in Phu My Hung). They dont have a large choice but they have mainly beef tenderloin, chicken filet and pork. The price is a bit pricey, maybe cheaper than Meatwork, count 100k for a piece of beef, 40k for a piece of chicken filet.

Dinh Phong – The Butchery is a premium butchery offering the largest choice of imported beef and lamb. Price is really really OK !! Like for example, ground beef is 285k the kg, oyster blade steak is 415k the kg which is pretty affordable. They have few shops,  whose one in district 2 (108C Xuan Thuy in Thao Dien) where you can actually have dinner there.

Local market: If you are not afraid of the cleanliness, local market can be a very good and cheap place to buy your meat (I am not kidding, I do myself buy my meat there very often), you will find mainly chicken, beek and pork. You have a big local market in district 4 not far from Copac building, in district 2 on Quoc Huong street (it is not really a market, just few local stores next to each other, they sell vegetables, meat and seafood, some keep the meat in the fridge all day long)
